"Shelter Poem" (Detail)
2008
Vinyl on Glass
Poem positioned in a bus shelter located adjacent to the art gallery on the UMA campus, with one line of the poem per pane of glass.

The poem reads:

Of all the things I feel
while standing here —
sheltered, unsure,
impatient, relieved,
uncomfortable, tired,
anxious, framed
— perhaps least expected,
but most appreciated is
this small but compelling
sense of hope.
